Ski
The excellent equipment for ski
sports attracts thousands of mountain lovers from Bulgaria and from
foreign countries. You will find 45 kilometres of slopes varying in
difficulty and length. They are grouped into three regions: Sitnqkovo -
Martinovi Baraki - The resort is a regular host of various winter
sports competitions. It has twice hosted World Cup competitions in
Alpine skiing.
Borovets has developed into a modern ski resort of high class with
luxury hotels, restaurants, discos, shops and a good choice of pistes
and lifts.
Borovets provides very good conditions for all snow sports during the
winter: skiing, night-skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing,
ski-doo, ski jumps and biathlon.
There are ski runs for beginners, intermediates and advanced skiers.
Town
Borovets is situated at 1,390 meters and has
slopes up to 2,600 meters. It is the largest mountain resort in
Bulgaria and offers excellent skiing, a friendly atmosphere and
incredible value for money. It is only a one hour drive from Sofia,
Bulgaria's capital.
Activities
Borovets
has an excellent nightlife with many bars and night clubs. The resort
is known as the most exciting Bulgarian ski centre with regards to
apres ski activities. Many bars are opened till early in the
morning. You get good prices and special happy hour discounts!
